If you are looking for a good run for your money in the stock market, one of the investments that you should consider is Daimler AG (DAI). Despite its slow and almost stale performance in the key areas of the globe at the early half of 2014, the latest products and developments within the company indicate that putting your money on it now might be a good idea.

Here some of the key reasons why you should place your bet on Daimler this year:

Mercedes-Benz and AMG are on a Roll

2015 Mercedes S-Class Coupe

The unveiling of the S-Class Coupe.

Mercedes-Benz just launched a new variant of its flagship product this year, the S-Class Coupe. The new version of the S-Class, the S550 4MATIC Coupe model is expected to go on sale this fall. A souped-up S63 AMG model is expected to follow at the end of the year too.

The car, together with its predecessor, holds innovative design, state-of-the-art technology, and ideal specs. All these elements will enable the Mercedes-Benz to maintain image as a leader in the luxury car segment.

The Mercedes-AMG GT makes its world premiere.

A few days ago, the much-awaited Mercedes-AMG GT made its debut. Although it is not expected to be selling hot like the C-Class and other more popular ranges of the three-pointed star brand, it presents a better alternative for sports car fans. Basically, the AMG GT is groomed to go head-to-head with the Porsche 911.

Looking at the specs and competitive pricing of the AMG GT, which saw a huge improvement compared to its predecessor, it will likely present a threat to the niche of the 911. The Black Series version of the AMG GT will also offer speed-hungry customers the things that will be lacking from the standard version.

Daimler is Boosting Plant Operations

Daimler is looking to expand the production target of its U.S. plants in 2015.

One problem experienced by Daimler earlier was it wasn’t able to keep up with high demand for its Mercedes products, especially in the U.S. However, it recently revamped its facilities in Europe, U.S. and even China to answer to the ever-increasing demand to its popular models. The favorable economic conditions in the mentioned areas at present will likely contribute to the strong sales of the brand too.

The Exposure of Mercedes-Benz is High

M-Class will get a facelift and new name in 2015.

In a marketing perspective, the Mercedes-Benz division of Daimler is doing a great job, and they continue to pursue aggressive strategies as time goes on. The Mercedes-Benz brand is revitalizing its ranges as well by making them more identifiable to customers. Add to that the high exposure of the marque in the racing circuit, particularly in Formula One this season, which displays the reliability and performance that can be expected from its engines and engineering.
