The Mercedes-Benz SLK 200 Carbon Look Edition is only available in 100 units and exclusive for the Japanese market.

Mercedes-Benz recently launched a limited-edition variant of the SLK exclusively for the Japanese market.

According to Inautonews, the car carrying the model name Mercedes-Benz SLK 200 Carbon Look Edition will only be produced in 100 units. Each unit costs 6,700,000 yen or around 49,000 euros.

The Exterior

What makes this car more special than the standard SLK is it features a diamond white finish for its exterior, a panoramic roof using the Magic Sky Control system, and five-spoke 18-inch AMG wheels.

The Interior

In the cabin, the car is fitted with gray carbon inserts with pearl finish. Then, its seats are lined with either a black or gray Nappa leather depending on the preference of the buyer. High-class mats also adorn its base. It gets a couple of tech upgrades as well.

Inside the Hood

Within the hood of the roadster rests a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine. The engine is capable of producing an overall output of 181 hp and 270 Nm of torque.

The power of the Mercedes-Benz SLK 200 Carbon Look Edition comes from the rear. It is distributed through its six-speed manual transmission gearbox, which might come as a delight to drivers who prefer the old school gear stick.

All these enable the car to achieve 62 mph sprint from zero in a reasonable span of 7.3 seconds.

Steering

Of course, being a Japan-exclusive model, the car only comes in right-hand drive.
