A few days ago, a video was uploaded in YouTube displaying the incredible power of a RENNtech-tuned Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series. The featured car received a complete overhaul from the tuner. Under its hood is an amplified 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V8, which produces a monstrous 675 hp and 678 Nm of torque.

Tune up your speakers as you click the video below to experience the full-sound of the tuned Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series from RENNtech:

It should be noted that the Mercedes SLS AMG is already past its production phase. Its successor, the Mercedes AMG GT, is expected to make its debut in a few months time. So, this video is among the last shout outs of the car to the world before it finally exits the spotlight to give way to the new Mercedes sports car.

Some critics doubt if the upcoming Mercedes AMG GT will be able to measure up to its predecessor, especially considering that its engine will be downsized into a 4-liter biturbo V8. They say that it might not be able to give off the same intimidating power and sound that the Mercedes SLS AMG produces.

In the Mercedes AMG GT sound clips and actual test of the car in Nurburgring, which were released previously, the exhaust sound of the supposed-rival of the Porsche 911 sure pales in comparison to the SLS on the sound alone.

But then again, everything remains to be seen when the new sports scar of the three-pointed star marque will finally hit the exhibit hall in its world premiere.
