The 2014 Mercedes CLA 250 gets the all-new Sport Package Plus, which further enhances its sporty features.

The 2014 Mercedes CLA 250 gets a new look with the new Sport Package Plus. While the CLA is already stylish as it is, the new package makes it sportier than ever.

Among the add-ons available in this optional package are the 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels. Then, a red accenting is put in the mesh of its front and rear bumper. It should be noted that the fine red highlighting extends up to the interior of the car. All the mentioned customization already include all the other modifications available in the existing Sport Package.

The upgrade focuses only on the visuals of the car though. The performance of the car is retained because it already packs a 208 hp and 258 lb-ft torque with its 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The power enables the car to sprint from zero to 60 mph in just a span of 6.9 seconds and build up a maximum speed of 149 mph. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with the standard seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission gearbox that propels the front wheels or all four of them through the optional 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.

Currently, the Sports Package of Mercedes-Benz costs around $2,200. No figures has been announced yet for the Sports Package Plus. On the other hand, the Mercedes CLA fetches a price of $30,825. Getting the all-wheel drive option puts an additional $2,000 in its cost.
