The unused potential of the vehicle was set loose by Mcchip-DKR, an aftermarket chip tuning specialist, with a few measured keyboard strokes.
The vehicle normally offers 360HP of power and 450Nm of torque through its 2.0-liter four-cylinder M133 turbo-charged engine when it comes out of the assembly line. However, after around four hours with the tuning specialist, power was increased by around 12 percent. The torque of the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG was also increased by around 17 percent during the four hours of ECU work.
This modification gave the vehicle a power output of 403.9HP and torque of 528Nm. The enhancement shows the capabilities of Mcchip-DKR in tuning the chip of the already super-charged vehicle.
However, it remains uncertain how this increase in power and torque will affect the productivity in the dynamics of the vehicle since it was not revealed by the tuning specialist. The standard acceleration of the luxury vehicle from 0 – 100 km/h or 0 – 62 mph is at 4.6 seconds. The maximum speed of the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG is limited to 250 km/h or 155 mph due to an electronic delimiter.
