Mercedes Launches E300 BlueTEC HYBRID

In Stuttgart, Mercedes recently announced its new E300 BlueTEC HYBRID. This diesel hybrid boasts of a fuel consumption of only 4.2 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers. Efficiency without compromise, such is Mercedes’ mantra for its automobiles, and the E300 BlueTEC HYBRID is no exception. In the E 300 BlueTEC HYBRID, Mercedes-Benz has combined the 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine developing 204 hp with a powerful hybrid module. Its 15 kW electric motor, positioned between the internal combustion engine and the 7-speed automatic transmission, assists the diesel engine when the car is accelerating to provide additional boost in power and in alternator mode, is used for the recuperation of braking energy…. CLS Shooting Brake Caught At The Ring

Seen testing recently at the Nurburgring is the estate version of the groundbreaking CLS design that represented a fresh wave of thinking for Mercedes-Benz. Although it has been called a shooting brake, it strictly is not in the traditional form of the body style that was representative of the shape some decades back. Mercedes-Benz Crushed an Illegal 300 SL Body

Daimler will not tolerate companies trying to copy their cars. In a press release, Daimler reported that they crushed a fake body of the Mercedes 300 SL that German customs officials confiscated. Although it was made in fiberglass, the full size replica of the three-star’s creation was still an infringement of their “work of art” said Daimler.
