I have done my own investigation and it has been indicated to me by a Mercedes – Benz head office employee ( I prefer not to mention any names) that it is normally the clips holding the panels in place that are either broken or have not been replaced correctly.

This would confirm my suspicions that the vehicle was involved in an accident prior to it being sold to me. I am not sure of what time scales are affecting my legal rights but I am concerned that I have been sold a vehicle that has had an accident.

I thought I was being sold a Mercedes approved vehicle. My surprise is that Mercedes Approved an Accident Damaged Vehicle.

Of course you are very busy man and one used vehicle is nothing in the greater scheme of things.

Should you be unable to resolve this please advise as soon as possible.
