Daimler Trucks NA Posts GHG 14 Compliance

As a Mercedes owner, you may not care about the excellent trucks that the Daimler group also offers around the world. But as tools of industry and commerce, trucks are indispensable. They also consume considerably more resources to operate in terms of tires, lubricants and fuel. So Daimler should justifiably be proud that the company’s trucks being sold in North America now have GHG14 certification. GHG 14 stands for Greenhouse Gas 2014, which is an EPA regulatory requirement for trucks which will be in force from 2014-2018. As its name implies, it aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions for medium and heavy-duty trucks. Once fully implemented, the new GHG14 regulations… Continue Reading »

By reworking the ECU and installing a titanium sports exhaust, Brabus was able to push engine output to 610 horsepower, from an already stellar 570. Mercedes-Benz has decided to create a “water version” of one of its cars. Based on the C63 AMG Black Series, US buyers can see and buy this Black Series 50′ Marauder Cigarette boat starting April this year. However, if you are expecting a 510HP, 6.3L V8 engine, you’ll be disappointed because these boats actually have Mercury Racing engines with 1350HP. You will not be disappointed with the design of the boat though as it has more than 100 billet aluminum accents lining up its seat support, dash, grab handles and sound system. It takes the black and white exterior of its “land” counterpart.
