The attrition-free race in Singapore Grand Prix, was won by Sebastian Vettel. The McLaren driver, Button was “almost” able to catch up with him, however did not succeed, he placed third while Webber of Red Bull placed second. Nico Rosberg was in 7th place.

It was not so good for Michael Schumacher of Mercedes Petronas, in lap 30 he thumped his car to Sergio Perez’s car and he smashed into the barriers. Fortunately, Schumacher did not suffer any injury.

Michael Schumacher said, “”That was not a nice end to my race in Singapore and I’m obviously a little disappointed. It was a misunderstanding between me and Sergio Perez. He wanted to move to the inside and went from the gas that I had not expected so early and met him. It was one of racing incidents which look spectacular from the outside a lot, as they look for the driver in the cockpit. The impact was not too hard and nothing happened to me. Shame that my race ended so, for my car and the tires worked well and the pace was very good. Now I’m looking forward to the next race where I want a better ending. ”

Rosberg was a bit positive, although also disappointed when he commented, “The best possible outcome today would have been room six, but it was not for us this weekend should be. I struggled in the race with the rear of the car that was not on this demanding track perfectly. I also had a higher tire degradation than to the drivers around me. That and the fact that we had to change my strategy when the safety car came out, meant that I could not come forward. We are not satisfied with the result in Singapore and will work hard to improve the car for the next race in Asia. ”
