Mercedes SLK Now Available In Australia

Emmanuel P July 7, 2011

Anywhere in the world, Mercedes-Benz cars are admired and desired in equal measure, and the third generation Mercedes SLK can only increase these feelings. Says Daimler Chairman Dr Dieter Zetsche, “The new SLK embodies the role of the trend-setter like no other car. I am convinced that with its passionate design, its high quality interior and its modesty at the filling station, it will continue to provide an enormous amount of fun on the road in future, too, consolidating its status as a cult roadster.”

Promising a generous mix of performance, efficiency and luxury, the SLK has now been made available to Australians, with a range of prices from AU$82,9000 to AU$118,900. The lower price range gives you an SLK 200 BlueEFFICIENCY, powered by a turbocharged 1.8-liter engine. The upper range of pricing will allow you to drive home the top of the line SLK 350 BlueEFFICIENCY, which comes with naturally-aspirated 3.5-liter V6.

It must be noted that these prices do not yet include on-road and dealer delivery costs.

  3. That is what I’ve heard as well. It is probably very likely that MB will showcase the SLK AMG version at the Frankfurt Show and have it in showrooms early next year.
