Mercedes-Benz AMG not only leads the car manufacturer’s pack by providing high-quality and safe vehicles for people. For a long time, they are advocating safety driving thus, Mercedes car owners get into lesser accident than owners of other brand, according to accident statistics. Their summer project is no exception as the German car manufacturer announced that they will launch the AMG Driving Academy and Mercedes-Benz Driving Events.
The driving events will happen in twelve locations and four off-road venues in key cities of Germany. They will be teaching car control while on the following programs : Emotion, Basic, Advanced, Pro and Masters. The target group are vast as they will accept learner drivers to professional drivers. The only requirement to enroll is a class 3 or class B driver’s license.
Trainees either drive their own Mercedes-Benz AMG or the cars for hire at the venue which are all equipped with AMG performance package. The cars to be used at MB Driving Events will extend from A-Class to S-Class as well as off-roaders and SUV models while the AMG Academy will make use of SLS AMG, C63 AMG, SLS 55 AMG, E63 AMG and SL63 AMG.
Ultimately, the goal of this events will be to “benefit from the confident car control practiced during training, not just Mercedes drivers. Any accident is one accident too many,” according to the Head of Mercedes Safety Development, Ulrich Mellinghoff so they made the programs affordable, the AMG Driving Academy starts only at €370.
