As an update to the previous post, the prototype C-Class was recently caught in a video, doing test drives in the city of Stuttgart. Only slightly disguised, the black test mule looks good and should have a good following once it is released.
The 2-door body has a lot of styling cues from its older brother and even with the mule’s blacked out grill and emblem, it is readily identifiable as a Mercedes, from front to rear. As the headlights were disguised, we cannot see a definitive look to the front end of the car but it is safe to assume that it will not deviate radically from the lines of its older brother.
The series 204 coupe is expected to carry over the current three-link MacPherson strut suspension for the front and a multi-link rear axle.
