Smart USA has chosen a new dealer for the Hawaiian islands, with the latest progress of intensifying the company’s dealer network into its 37th state. This new dealership will be handled by the Hawaii Automotive Retailing Group. Called the smart center Honolulu, this latest venture would be launched later this month. According to the President of smart USA, Jill Lajdziak, venturing in to the Hawaiian market is a very important highlight for the smart brand. The smart fortwo’s tiny size, agility and its awesome fuel efficiency would make the vehicle a perfect fit for the Hawaiian island. The smart USA is under the Penske Automotive Group, a selected Hawaii Automotive Retail Group to embody the brand in Hawaii after an intricate evaluation phase, which was intended to guarantee top sales for its clients and a great service experience. The Hawaii Automotive Retailing Group is owned and controlled by Inder Dosanjh, together with managing partner Ernest Guajando.

The smart center Honolulu is the third new smart dealership venture to be launched this year and is the company’s second retail point beyond the U.S. mainland. smart USA’s newest action is the presentation of the smart fortwo electric drive to the U.S. The company will launch a fleet of 250 vehicles as a part of the testing phase. Based on their press release, smart USA will be presenting the smart fortwo electric drive in the US this week as a part of the smart brand’s eco-heritage with urban mobility and environmental conservation. Hawaii is a developing alternative fuel state, and the opening of smart USA retail locations would offer opportunity to carry the smart fortwo electric drive into the market.
