Expected to arrive by the end of 2010, the edgy and greatly styled 2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS will take over the present coupe/sedan. Based on the spy shots from InsideLine, it was caught without camo as it was prepped for a photo shoot. The new CLS is currently moving towards and edgier complication, where the basic proportions of the 2011 CLS is still similar to the original, but with a whole lot of styling put into it. The flank features some curving creases that sinks fron the belt line and goes up from the rockers.
The CLS also got some inspiration from the new E-Class for its haunch in the rear wheels. Some more changes includes an “angry” headlights, a snout that sticks out and side mirrors that are very similar to the E-Class sedan. The vehicle featured in the spy pic is a CLS 350, which is power-driven by Mercedes’ new 60-degree 3.5 liter, direct-injected V6, which gives out a maximum 306 HP. The CLS will also be presented with a new twin-turbo, direct-injected 4.7-liter V8, which according to the reports will offer a maximum of 435 HP and 516 pound-feet of torque.
