Michael C. May 4, 2010

Mercedes-Benz USA announced that their April sales have reached a total of 18,228 vehicles.  This is a great news as their sales have gone up to a total of 25.1%, starting the second quarter with a 25.5% rise on a year to date basis. High demands for both the Mercedes passenger car and light-truck categories were the main reason for the high sales volume for this month.  With regards to the sedan category, the much trendy C-Class, which is much preferred by the younger generation and the first time Mercedes Benz buyers, continued to be the volume leader by having a sales of 4,624.  As with their E-Class 9th generation, it still maintained its high sales by having a total sales of 4,528, and lastly the M-Class SUV also got great results with a total sales of 2,269.  Maintaining its high sales every year, Mercedes-Benz has sold over 68,794 new vehicles, which is a 35.5% boost compared to last year.  By the Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned (MBCPO) program, Mercedes-Benz USA increased their sales by 14.1% compared to their total sales last April 2009.

Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) has its headquarters in Montvale, New Jersey and is the sole responsible for the distribution, customer service and marketing for all the Mercedes-Benz and Maybach products in the whole North America.
