The Good old folks over at Autobild.de have partnered up with design firm Larson to show us what the future at Mercedes-Benz looks like. Based on rumors and probably even pure speculation, they have created an illustration of the next-gen A-Class. Mercedes-Benz will be taking a somewhat different approach with the new A-Class (W 176) says Autobild. They’ll make it longer and lower the center of gravit – and making it much more sportier. Audi and BMW are being taken head on with the new A-Class; to be more specific, they’re going after the 1-Series as well as the A3. It’s being preped for an October 2012 launch

It’s a BMW! If I wanted a BMW I’d buy one not some wannabe version from Mercedes. I want another innovative car like my A Class (W169 thank you). I’ll hang on to my 2009 A Class for a few more years and then buy the car most like it on the market. It looks like it won’t be a Mercedes.
Mercedes will hit the market with this car …… No more Seria 1 and A3……. expected the launch!!!!!
The new A class will definitely top its competitors.
Sportier performance specs and it looks more aggressive yet still manages to retain its stylish refinements that Mercedes Benz is reknown for. The BMW 1 series has an awkward “bread van” body with an “Angry Birds” face. It will lose out to this car especially with the design. As for the Audi A3, that car is so boring that it really should not be put in the same category as the BMW 1 Series or Mercedes A class.
Fingers crossed and waiting for this car!
