Some more Autobild news, this time about the new SLK generation. December 2010 should be when the new SLK heads to market, and according to the Germans, it will be much quicker and more agile in the corners. It’s certainly have many upgrades, as we’re used to with Mercedes. Some of the changes, also seen on the E-Class, will be LED lights and Bi-Xenon Corner Headlights, as well a better Brake cooling system. In the engine compartment, we’ll probably find the unchanged 1.8 l Kompressor engine with 184 bhp.

Quite close. I’d say that the future SLK will have a larger and more square and vertical central air intake opening, like the SLS. The MB designers wanted to give a muscle car feel to this small roadster.

Carsten;
Choose 200 kompressor. 163 ps engine will be enough and maintenance costs will be much less than a 13 y/o car. I drove one for 2 years and I’m still missing it.
