Mercedes-Benz prepping for a C-Class Cabrio release

mb c cabrio small Mercedes Benz prepping for a C Class Cabrio release
Ever since Mercedes-Benz chose to re-name the CLK into the E-Class Coupe, there feeling that the C-Class would get its own Coupe or Cabriolet models grew stronger. Well according to InsideLine, that just might happen.

If BMW can have both a 1 and 3 Series convertible, why wouldn’t Mercedes-Benz have a C-Class Cabrio. The Benz execs agreed with that, so they’ll be creating one to compete with both of the BMWs as early as next year – so a 2011 launch.

  1. BMW cabrios are not the only competition for this model. What about Lexus and Volvo ones? Mercedes desperately needs a moderately priced 4-seat cabrio to compete in this market. I only hope they are smart enough to make it practical, and not only beautiful, by adding a foldable hardtop and ample boot space (thus completely isolating Audi in the cabrio market).

  2. Can’t wait to see the cabrios and coupes on the roads. I’ll take a benz over an volvo or lexus any day.

  3. MERCEDES IS BETTER THAN VOLVO OR LEXUS.I CAN’T WAIT TO SE THIS C CONVERTIBLE.I HOPE IT’LL BE HARDTOP<3<3<3<3<3
