NYC is not only one of those cities, but probably one of the words in terms of parking availability and cost. According to Gadgetall, Daimler AG has worked out a deal with some of the parking garages in the Big Apple to get discounted rates for the smart cars. Garages that will participate and knock 50% off the rates are Madison Square Garden, Javits Center, Times Square and Upper East Side. We are glad people and companies see the value of the smart car in an urban environment such as NYC; let’s see if Daimler can work out such deals with garages in other cities.
