Being only 80 miles away from Frankfurt, I had no excuse not to visit this years IAA in Frankfurt. I got the opportunity to see the newest, coolest, and future cars up close, and sometimes even managed to sit in one. I must admit that I didn’t see half of the cars there. You just can’t image how many people there were; Mercedes, VW Group, Fiat Group and BMW were the busiest places, where you had to fight your way through the crowed to get a glimpse at the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, or the Lamborghini Reventon. Nevertheless, I am glad I went, but next time I will try and go during a work day, maybe even during the press days, if I ever get a press pass.
Check out the gallery and see what I saw.

It’s very easy to get press card. Just fill the acreditation form, and that’s it. Try it for next autoshow and you’ll see.
btw, great site
You are lucky you can go to the IAA. It must be very fun. I definitly know you enjoyed it.

Thanks, I really did enjoy it.

To fill out the acreditation, one needs a press pass or someway to show that you work for the press. I don’t they consider this blog a “news service”.
If anyone knows how to get a press pass or press id, then hit me up; It would be great to be one of the first to cover an event.
You can make it for it self. I think nobody checks the “reality or identity” of press.
The Geneve is little more tricky because is smaller autoshow, but I think, there will be no problem for IAA or Paris.
I will send you the speciment, and you will make your own Press Card
