		<description>The first thing companies do when they are restructuring or cutting cost is lay off people. It is the easiest and best way to cut cost, but at what price? Just like you said, motivation with the other employees goes down. Instead of cutting pay to the top managers and avoiding costly mistakes (DaimlerChrysler merger) they just lay off the people who are the core (no pun intended) of the company.</description>

		<description>The CORE program unfortunately costed the job of so many colleagues. The motivation and confidence is at the lowest ever and the organization has became a mess as the people who stayed has to work for 2 or 3 persons jobs.</description>
