Mercedes Increased Sales in China by 30%

Mercedes is reporting that sales in China have risen by 30% for the first seven months when compared to the same period last year, selling 15,830 vehicles. The Mercedes S-Class had one of the most significant gains, selling 5800 vehicles for the first seven months, and increase of 53% from last year.

The SUV division had also a substantial sales increase. Mercedes sold 2,100 models of the ML, GL, G and R series in China in the first seven months, up 67 percent year on year.

In addition, SLK, CLK and SL sports car series sales increased substantially. The CLK sports July car sales in China rose 124 percent year on year.
